About us
Liga is a family-run business born in 2018 in Cornwall. Since then, son Jamie has also joined, keeping the family roots strong. Liga has expanded into a close-knit, talented team that supports every step, from initial idea to the finished product in your home.
Jennie, our founder and design lead, brought a wealth of experience from the retail world, having sourced products for gift stores and interior design clients. Over time, she became increasingly concerned about the waste she saw in the industry and became curious about more sustainable alternatives. Driven by a dream to create products with contemporary design, practical, and planet-conscious, Jennie set out to make a change.
At a time when eco-consciousness was still a fairly niche concept, she was ahead of the curve, and part of the working force behind making sustainable products mainstream.
Living in Cornwall, the team are surrounded by nature and are never too far from the sea. The brand is inherently connected to nature; from the sustainable materials they use, to the stories behind their collections.

Organic cork is one of Liga’s core and foundational materials, a sustainable and regenerative resource harvested by hand every nine years. Over time, our selection of exciting sustainable materials has expanded to include other innovative and planet-friendly choices.
Ranging from recycled plastics and rubber to organic, unbleached cotton, and compostable cloth. We only take what the planet is happy to give us, and in turn, we give back by creating cleverly designed products for your home.
Liga is more than just our business. It’s our family, our livelihood, and a reflection of how we live, and what we believe in.

We have worked hard over the years to introduce only eco-friendly and sustainable products, from our signature cork pieces to our innovative Beach Clean range. We continue to search for the best sustainable materials, with more exciting additions to the collection coming soon.

Aside from spotting our products in shops throughout the UK, you can visit our very own LIGA Eco Store in the heart of the beautiful Cornish harbour town, Fowey.
